Product Details
A die cut sticker follows the outline of your design instead of sitting inside a plain circle or square. The blade traces the edge of your logo, mascot or illustration, usually with a thin border, so the finished sticker looks like a small cut-out of your brand. Packwhole prints custom die cut stickers in the size and material you choose and cuts each one to your artwork.
Shape is the first thing people notice. A sticker shaped like a coffee cup, a leaf or your logo mark stands out on a laptop, water bottle or package far more than a standard rectangle.
| Material | Look and Feel | Good For | |—|—|—| | White vinyl | Bright colors, water-resistant | Bottles, laptops, outdoor use | | Clear vinyl | See-through background | Glass, windows, light surfaces | | Matte paper | Soft, natural texture | Packaging inserts, envelopes | | Gloss paper | Shiny, vivid print | Product decoration, promotions | | Metallic | Gold or silver base | Premium logos and seals |
Add a matte or gloss laminate to vinyl for extra scratch protection. See our guide to paper vs vinyl stickers if you are choosing between the two.
A die cut sticker is cut through both the sticker and its backing, so each piece is separate. A kiss cut sticker is cut only through the top layer and stays on a larger backing sheet. Die cut is best for handing out single stickers; kiss cut suits custom sticker sheets with several designs together.
1. Use vector art such as AI, EPS or PDF for the cleanest edge. 2. Keep the shape simple: very thin points or small gaps can tear when peeled. 3. Allow a border: a white or colored margin around the design hides tiny shifts in cutting. 4. Mark the cut line: if you have one, include it as a separate layer. If not, our team draws it for free.
You receive a digital proof showing the cut line before printing.
Cost depends on size, material, quantity and whether you add lamination. Larger runs lower the price per sticker. Minimums are low, production turnaround is fast, and design help is free.
