Gloss stickers are printed on coated paper or vinyl with a shiny top surface. The coating reflects light, which makes colors look deeper and photos look sharper. For bright logos, food photography or bold promotional artwork, a gloss finish gives the most eye-catching result. For a softer finish without shine, compare with our custom matte paper stickers.
1. Use high-resolution images of at least 300 dpi at final size. 2. Design in CMYK so colors print as expected; see what is CMYK for printing. 3. Avoid large areas of very dark color on paper stickers that will be handled a lot, as fingerprints show on shiny surfaces. 4. Keep text away from the edge by at least 1/16 inch.
The smooth coating does not absorb ink well, so ballpoint pens may smudge. If you need to write dates or names, use a permanent marker or choose a matte sticker instead.
Glossy stickers can be made as circles, squares, ovals, rectangles or custom die cut stickers, as singles or on sheets, in any size.
